1. Animal in a right lateral recumbency 2. Palpate slot in distal portion of tube

3. Introduce Peel-Away® sheath needle into distal portion of tube
  4. Remove needle from sheath

5.Previous to introducing the catheter pre-measure the desired length and mark stop-position with a permanent pen. This will permit you to stop the catheter introduction at the right length and to control any moving position. Then introduce catheter through sheath to the lower third of the oesophagus

6. Peel sheath away and gently remove tube holding catheter in place
