1. Animal in a right lateral recumbency. Place the introduction tube into the stomach 2. Insufflate air to confirm position

3. Pass needle percutaneously into tube distal end 4. Introduce threaded wire down needle

5. Remove tube and needle to leave wire only 6. Remove fitting on silicone tube and insert adaptor

7. Screw adaptor on threaded wire 8. Pull silicone tube through tract and out the flank until you see first mark on the tube

9. Secure tube at skin and fit stopcock
